Whether you’re travelling solo, with friends, in a same-sex couple, or in a group, no two holidays are the same, and more importantly, no two individuals are the same. From gay honeymoons and LGBT-friendly holiday destinations to gay pride and cruises, our gay friendly travel partners are incredibly knowledgeable.

Book your holiday or honeymoon today.
LGBT Holiday Destinations
As we’re firm believers in opening the world up to all, we understand that sometimes you may want to travel to places where being gay is not quite as acceptable as it is at home. Because of this, our chosen travel partners will always offer open and honest advice on a destination. Your safety and happiness come first. In destinations such as the Maldives where it’s illegal to be gay, we work with luxury resorts that are extremely welcoming to gay couples. The privacy and tranquility that such resorts are able to provide mean that on the whole, you can relax and be yourself. So that dream of a luxury honeymoon spent in an overwater bungalow can definitely become a reality!
On the other end of the spectrum, there are European holiday destinations like Germany, Greece and Spain, where gay travellers and same-sex couples are welcomed with open arms across the country. These European countries have become some of the most popular gay travel destinations in the world. Travel to any of these countries in the summer and you’ll be able to enjoy a range of pride events and parades. And within Spain and Germany, in particular, you will also find LGBT hotel chains such as the Axel Hotels Group. This self-proclaimed “Heterofriendly” hotel group is primarily for the LGBT community and has a range of luxury hotels in Berlin, Ibiza, and Madrid to name a few. In the Middle East, LGBT holidays to Tel Aviv are also incredibly popular and common, due, in part to Tel Aviv Pride. This annual event is one of the biggest LGBT parties in the world! Tel Aviv’s location, just under 5 hours away from the UK makes it incredibly accessible. Further afield there are LGBT friendly destinations like Australia, Thailand and Canada.
In 2018 Australia legalised gay marriage after years of campaigning. This has made Australia an even more attractive gay travel destination. Sydney; renowned for its annual Mardi gras celebrations is the perfect place to start a luxury holiday, before travelling along the East Coast to the Whitsundays, Melbourne and beyond.
In 2018 Canada was ranked the no.1 gay travel destination in the 2018 Spartacus Gay Travel Index. It’s nearly always had a reputation for being one of the most gay-friendly countries in the world. For a one-of-a-kind experience, why not explore the Canadian Rockies? Spend your days rediscovering the beauty of Mother Nature. And at night, retire your elegant appointed room in a luxury hotel.
Although same-sex marriage is not yet legal in Thailand, Thailand is a very gay-friendly destination. Nicknamed “The land of smiles”, the beauty, friendly atmosphere and hospitality of the people will undoubtedly leave a positive lasting impression. The list of things to do and see when visiting Thailand is almost endless. From the buzzing city of Bangkok to the beautiful remote private island resorts, a luxury holiday or honeymoon in Thailand can be anything that you want it to be.
However, there’s no reason why alternative holiday options shouldn’t be on your radar either. Perhaps you would like a guided safari tour in Tanzania? Or perhaps you’re keen to travel by rail or on a luxury cruise? No matter how you choose to spend your time, or who you choose to spend it with, it’s the memories that you create whilst doing it that matters. To help ensure that you have the best time possible whilst you’re away, our travel partners will always make sure that they make the right recommendations.

Getting married has got to be one of, if not the greatest moments of your life. Tying the knot with the love of your life, if we’re lucky, happens once. However, a wedding without a honeymoon is like a birthday without cake. It’s one of the standouts of the whole experience.
LGBT Honeymoon Destinations
Usually, a honeymoon is the perfect time to opt for a bit of wow. Of course, there are the usual honeymoon favourites such as the Maldives, Mauritius, and Thailand. However, if you are to marry once, then there really isn’t a better time to demand the most and the very best!
One of our favourite luxury honeymoon destinations is French Polynesia. This untouched paradise, in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, is a firm favourite amongst celebrities and discerning luxury travellers. Enjoy peace, privacy and tranquillity as you indulge all your senses. With its volcanic mountains, aquamarine lagoons, and white sand beaches French Polynesia is the perfect honeymoon destination. If you are travelling from the UK, we often recommend flying direct to Los Angeles for an overnight stay, followed by a flight to Papeete with a final short flight to Bora Bora. Once you arrive and take your first steps in the bright white sand, the journey will become a distant memory.
Gay Cruises and LGBT-Friendly Cruises
We partner with several cruise specialists renowned around the world for their superb itineraries and fantastic facilities. A few options are below, but visit our luxury cruise page to learn more about luxury cruises.

On a U by Uniworld cruise, you can discover the Netherlands, Germany, Slovakia, Austria, and Hungary. Aimed at travellers who are young, and young at heart, there is a keen focus on celebrating individuality and uniqueness.
This all-inclusive cruise brand is dedicated to creating memorable river cruise experiences. Not only that, but since 2017 same-sex marriages performed onboard all Celebrity Cruises ships are legally recognised.
The on-ship activities are the perfect excuse to get chatting with different groups of people, from photography classes to glass blowing – they’re an easy way to get to know the other passengers. There are also LGBT Welcome Parties on-ship where you can meet with other gay and lesbian passengers and those from the LGBT community on the ship. LGBT Travel Laws
There are still 71 countries around the world with anti-LGBT legislation. So it’s very important that lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender travellers are fully aware of the latest developments, and travel advice. As a luxury travel company, we are able to benefit from the knowledge and expertise provided by platforms such as Equaldex and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO). Using these resources we ensure that anyone booking with us has access to the best and most up-to-date advice.
As a supporter and member of various LGBT organisations such as the Gay European Tourism Association, and by working with LGBT travel bloggers we have access to a wide range of research and information. This further allows us to provide each traveller with the most up-to-date travel information.
