Palazzo Versace Dubai

Italian fashion brand, Versace, set the fashion world alight in 1978 and quickly became an international powerhouse. Founder Gianni Versace’s assassination in 1997, was thought to be the end of the brand. However, like a phoenix from the ashes, Gianni’s sister Donatella Versace took over the brand her brother created and catapulted the brand to new heights in every sense. Few luxury brands boast such an illustrious history, or such authentic roots. Gianni once said “I want to be the joy to people through my work” and this vision has guided every decision ever since.

Whether you love the Versace brand, love what it stands for, or would simply like a glimpse into the world of Versace, a luxury stay at the 5* Palazzo Versace Dubai will surpass all expectations. The centrepiece of Culture Village, Palazzo Versace Dubai is ideally situated beside the beautiful Jaddaf Waterfront. Unobstructed views of the Dubai Creek, stunning landscaped gardens and inviting pools, create a relaxed atmosphere around the hotel. The hotel itself is reminiscent of a 16th-century Italian Palace. Palazzo Versace Dubai is inspired by neoclassical architecture and features all elements of grandeur, space and opulence that you would expect from a hotel designed by Versace.

Inside, this luxury hotel is truly palatial. Palazzo Versace’s 215 hotel rooms and suites (including two sprawling Imperial Suites) are inspired by the late Gianni Versace’s rock-baroque Miami palazzo. Although Donatella refreshed the designs to make Palazzo Versace look and feel more contemporary, there are still “typical” Versace features and touches all over the Palazzo Versace. This further adds to its appeal.

On arrival it’s impossible to miss the striking “Pietra di Fiume” design of the iconic Medusa head and Greek décor. The floor of the grand lobby also features an extraordinary marble mosaic made up of 1.5 million pieces. The masterpiece was created by Fantini Mosaici, an Italian firm that worked on most of Gianni’s homes which once again highlights the authenticity of the hotel. A three-tonne Lasvit bohemian glass chandelier hangs overhead in the lobby area; inspired by a classic Versace floral pattern.

As you meander through the hotel and the grounds, the thing that you’ll truly appreciate above all else is the exquisite attention to detail. Very few hotels are able to match the attention to detail, and exquisite touches throughout. Every single item of furniture and fabric in the hotel has been tailor made exclusively for Palazzo Versace Dubai. The hallways feature elegant purple carpets handcrafted from New Zealand wool. The walls of every hall are lined with sketches of supermodels sporting Versace creations which act as a reminder of the brands legacy.

Each room and suite is deliciously opulent with a Versace print design in the silk bedding and bold turquoise, blue, beige, gold, or salmon pastel colours from the Versace Home Collection. Every element oozes the highest level of detail from the parquet floors, and furniture to the state of the art television and control systems. Versace brand icons can be found throughout each room. Donatella once said, the “Medusa is a unique symbol – something strong. It’s about going all the way”. This certainly rings true at the hotel. In the rooms of Palazzo Versace, you’ll find the Medusa head embroidered on towels, on the fragrant toiletries, the shower doors of the walk in rainforest shower, and engraved on the base of the crystal tumblers.

For dining and drinking, explore any of the eight restaurants at Palazzo Versace. Each restaurant is a tribute to Versace’s signature works. Enigma, Vanitas, and the all-day dining Giardino restaurant are just a few of the options. Giardino is also the restaurant where breakfast is served each day – decorated in the green-and-white jungle print that featured on J Lo’s infamous dress at the Grammy’s, it is memorable and captures the imagination.

However, Palazzo Versace also has all of the typical hallmarks that you would want in a luxury hotel. The hotel has a host of fantastic amenities which include three upscale lagoon pools designed with mosaic tiles and lined with palm trees; a fully equipped fitness centre, a luxury spa (V Spa), a kids’ club with napping room and play area, chauffeur services to Festival City Mall, Dubai Mall and more.

Guests staying at Palazzo Versace also have unlimited access and use of the Pool and Beach facilities at Nikki Beach Resort and Spa Dubai (although minimum spend of AED 200 is required per person). As part of this, Palazzo Versace offers complimentary pick up and drop off services to Nikki Beach from Palazzo Versace Dubai and vice versa. This exclusive one of a kind arrangement once again highlights why Palazzo Versace is an exceptional choice for a luxury holiday in Dubai.

A stay at Palazzo Versace is a one of a kind experience, making it perfect for a luxury holiday in Dubai.

Day 1

Located just 15 minutes away from Dubai International Airport, the next five nights will be spent at the Palazzo Versace Dubai. Palazzo Versace Dubai is one of only two Versace hotels in the world, and is the perfect choice for discerning luxury travellers. The enviable location, in close proximity to Dubai airport, within easy reach of the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall, makes it a great choice for those looking to explore the major attractions in Dubai. So when you’re not enjoying the three swimming pools, spa, Versace boutique, or one of the 8 restaurants and lounges, you’ll be able to admire the Dubai skyline, or indulge in a spot of shopping.

All rooms and suites at Palazzo Versace are elegantly decorated and well appointed.  Each room is furnished with the Versace Home Collection. Plenty of natural light illuminates the rooms and suites, and serene views of the Dubai Creek or Jaddaf Waterfront can be enjoyed from a private balcony or terrace. The bathrooms and intricate handcrafted mosaic and Carrara marble tiling that provide a balance of detail and simplicity. The attention to detail at Palazzo Versace Dubai is truly breath-taking, so much so, you may never want to leave!

After freshening up, spend the afternoon exploring the facilities. Dive into the pool for a swim, before dinner at Italian restaurant Vanitas. Perhaps, the best Italian restaurant in Dubai, Vanitas is a restaurant with finesse, offering a range of expertly curated dishes. On Tuesdays, guests can enjoy the finest taste of Italy at Vanitas with a sharing style menu inspired by traditional Italian dishes as part of the “Serata di Sapori” night.

We recommend having an early night in advance of tomorrows first full day in Dubai.

Day 2

With a buffet breakfast at Giardino served between 06:30am to 10:30am you can start your day the right way. From freshly baked croissants, to live cooking stations, to homemade muesli you can try something new every day. Spend the morning relaxing on one of the many sun loungers and cabanas spread across each pool. At Palazzo Versace, there’s never a mad rush to reserve a lounger. A towel and ice cold water will be provided by a member of the pool team once you’ve chosen the perfect spot.

In the afternoon, explore the downtown Dubai area to see the Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa. Palazzo Versace offers a complimentary shuttle service to the Dubai Mall throughout the day. If you’re travelling with children, you may want to explore Palm Jumeirah instead. Here, you can enjoy the world famous Aquaventure Waterpark at The Atlantis, The Palm. Voted the Number 1 water park in Europe and the Middle East there are adrenaline inducing rides, slides, and pools that the whole family can enjoy. This is in addition to Dolphin Bay where children can have a once in a lifetime experience swimming with dolphins, ray feeding, and take part in educational aquarium tours.

In the evening, enjoy a memorable dinner on a Dubai sunset cruise. The skyscrapers brightly lit under the night sky and reflecting onto the Marina, paint an unforgettable picture of Dubai. Cruising in Dubai Marina, you can gaze at the Dubai Yacht Club, Dubai Marina Mall and parts of the Palm. Upon returning to Palazzo Versace, head straight to Qs Bar and Lounge. The music legend Quincy Jones’ first ever bar, Q’s is Dubai’s most desirable venue for live entertainment. Enjoy live musical performances paired with a wide selection of fine and rare beverages or the finest cigars.

Day 3

Finish breakfast and then spend the morning relaxing by the pool. In the early afternoon you will embark on a desert safari excursion. The specifics of the excursion depend on which operator the excursion is booked with, however they typically last between five and eight hours. Within this time, you will travel in a comfortable 4×4 to a desert camp, try local foods, enjoy a camel ride, and watch and participate in traditional Emirati activities such as belly-dancing and henna tattooing. Back at camp you often experience an Arabian feast underneath the stars before returning to Palazzo Versace Dubai.
