Sample Dubai Holiday Itinerary

Prior to departure, you will receive a bespoke itinerary created by a Rich Vein Travel expert filled with advice and recommendations. Read an extract of one of our itineraries for Dubai below.

Day 1

Located just twenty-five minutes away from the airport, the next five nights will be spent at the Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumierah Beach. This family-friendly Four Seasons hotel is home to Mercury, one of Dubai’s – if not the world’s – most impressive rooftop bars. It is also arguably situated in one of the best locations of any Dubai hotel conveniently located between the beach and the Burg Khalifa and Dubai Mall. So when you’re not enjoying the private perfectly-raked white sand beach, you’ll be able to admire the Dubai skyline, or indulge in a spot of shopping.

All rooms and suites at the Four Seasons Resort Dubai are decorated with a subtle colour scheme, with modern features and a touch of Arabic elegance. Your gleaming bathroom features a custom Murano glass pendant, a mirror with built-in TV and, deep spacious bathtub. Whilst, younger travellers can expect child-sized bathrobes to match mummy and daddy, complimentary tear-free children’s toiletries, and a toy camel mascot. Cribs, complimentary diapers, blankets, highchairs, strollers, PlayStation’s, and Xbox’s are available too. We can ensure that these items are in the room  ahead of your arrival.

After freshening up, spend the afternoon exploring the facilities with several on-site restaurants and lounges to enjoy, a 24-hour fitness centre, main swimming pool, adults-only pool, tennis court, business centre, and of course, the private beach. Dive into the pool for a swim, before dinner at family friendly Suq. This casual restaurant delivers Arabian specialties and international favourites with a special children’s play area to keep the children entertained until their food arrives. We recommend having an early night in advance of tomorrows first full day in Dubai.

Day 2

With a buffet breakfast at Suq served between 7:30am and 11:30am you can start your day the right way. From freshly baked croissants, to live cooking stations, to homemade muesli you can try something new every day. Spend the morning exploring the magnificent Palm Jumeirah. Built out of land reclaimed from the sea and shaped like a palm tree from above, Palm Jumeirah is one of the most exclusive areas in Dubai. At this modern hub you can enjoy the world famous Aquaventure Waterpark at The Atlantis, The Palm. Voted the Number 1 water park in Europe and the Middle East and spanning 17 hectares there are adrenaline inducing rides, slides, and pools that the whole family can enjoy. This is in addition to Dolphin Bay where children can have a once in a lifetime experience swimming with dolphins, ray feeding, and take part in educational aquarium tours.

In the evening, enjoy a romantic dinner for two on a Dubai sunset cruise. The skyscrapers brightly lit under the night sky and reflecting onto the Marina, paint an unforgettable picture of Dubai. Cruising in Dubai Marina, you can gaze at the Dubai Yacht Club, Dubai Marina Mall and parts of the Palm. Continue your romantic evening for two with cocktails at the Four Seasons Mercury Lounge. If it’s a Thursday or Friday, the complimentary kids’ program at the Four Seasons is open until 11pm which is incredibly convenient if your children are aged 4 to 12. However, if this is not the case the hotel’s concierge can arrange a childcare service.

Day 3

Finish breakfast and then spend the morning relaxing by the pool. In the early afternoon you will embark on a desert safari excursion. The specifics of the excursion depend on which operator the excursion is booked with, however they typically last between five and eight hours. Within this time, you will travel in a comfortable 4×4 to a desert camp, try local foods, enjoy a camel ride, and watch and participate in traditional Emirati activities such as belly-dancing and henna tattooing. Back at camp you often experience an Arabian feast underneath the stars before returning to the Four Seasons.

Day 4

If you’re looking for shopping heaven in Dubai look no further than the Dubai Mall. The Dubai Mall is the world’s largest shopping, entertainment, and leisure destination. With over 1,200 retail and dining outlets, a cinema, the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo, theme parks, and an ice skating rink, you could easily spend your entire week at the Mall. So we recommend creating a plan to ensure you don’t get too side-tracked with so many things to do and see.  An hour before the sun sets, ascend the Burj Khalifa.  It will be busy as the sunsets, so getting the top an hour early and pre-booking your ticket ensures that you’re able to choose the perfect spot to watch the sunset and take the incredible Instagram worthy photographs. Finish of today’s sightseeing with a beautiful light, music and water show at the Dubai Fountain, next to the Burj Khalifa. Every thirty minutes between the hours of 6:00pm and 11:00pm choreographed water jets shoot over 100 feet in the air and dance to the rhythms of songs from all over the world. Watching one of these shows will to be an unforgettable experience.

Freshen up at the hotel, and then visit Naya’s for dinner on Jumeirah Beach. Naya presents a vibrant blend of classic and contemporary Indian cuisine in a luxurious setting. They also provide a kids menu if travelling with children.
