Hotel Camiral at PGA Catalunya

Hotel Camiral is less than an hour from the vibrant metropolis of Barcelona and within easy reach of the glorious beaches of the Costa Brava, and the historic town of Girona. Designed by the internationally renowned interior designers Lázaro Rosa-Violán, Hotel Camiral is the perfect combination of contemporary architecture, striking urban-chic interiors, and five-star luxury. In the lounge, retro chandeliers sit alongside tan leather sofas, orange rugs and white drapes. Corridors are carpeted with black velvet moquette and grandiose Grecian-style pottery.

Sample Holiday Itinerary

Day 1

Regular direct flights from all major UK airports to Girona-Costa Brava Airport (the nearest airport) make Costa Brava incredibly accessible. Hotel Camiral is conveniently situated 10 minutes away from the airport by car however it’s also possible to fly to Barcelona and take the more scenic route. At Rich Vein Travel we can arrange airport transfers or car hire to ensure you have an effortless journey to your destination. Upon arrival at the Hotel Camiral, it will be impossible not to be impressed by the stunning design of the lobby area, with contemporary furnishings and the warm friendly staff. Check-in to your room or suite, unpack your bags and make yourself at home.

As Hotel Camiral has a stellar reputation for golf, on day 1 it makes sense to tee off in the sunshine. On day 1 we recommend the Tour course. This course was designed by Ángel Gallardo and Neil Coles and is perfect for players of all levels. However, if you don’t feel quite ready enough to tackle the course on your own, it’s possible to book golf lessons at the on-site PGA Catalunya Academy. Here, experienced coaches will adapt the lessons to your specific needs, blending golfing theory with practical sessions. On Saturdays, children can receive expert tuition too.

After a fun afternoon on the golf course, retire to your room to freshen up before dinner. For your first evening at Hotel Camiral head to 1477 – the signature restaurant. Mains include grilled rack of lamb with mashed potatoes and butter and grilled fish loin with seasonal vegetables and pesto. 

Day 2

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at Hotel Camiral before heading out into the sunshine for the second day of your holiday. There are countless things to do at the resort so you will find a million ways to entertain the entire family at Hotel Camiral. For sports enthusiasts, the hotel offers tennis camp, paddle surfing, cycling tours, kayaking and snorkelling. If you’re looking for something a little gentler, there’s also pilates, yoga, and guided nature walks to help you discover the natural beauty in the local area. 

Spend the early afternoon by the pool on one of the many sun-loungers. From here, you won’t have to look very far to find a lunch spot. Enjoy long lunches with family and friends on the large shaded deck of the Pool Bar. The Pool Bar menu features a tempting selection of international favourites – from fresh salads to juicy burgers. 

Later in the afternoon head, to Wellness Centre. It’s the perfect way to take time out, indulge yourself and truly relax. Hotel Camiral Wellness Centre is a sanctuary of serenity and relaxation, boasting an indoor hydrotherapy pool, healing thermal suite and treatment rooms. Enjoy a holistic treatment or beauty therapy treatment, including massages, facials and skincare rituals. Whilst you’re at the spa, children can enjoy the Hotel Camiral’s Kids Club. It’s a wonderful place of exploration and education for children aged from 2-12 years. Babysitting and childcare can also be provided by the hotel for an additional fee.
